I am a big fan of Oceania and have sailed on the Regatta and Nautica and hope to fit in a cruise on one of the new ships soon. As you mentioned, the food is wonderful and there is always something different to look forward to on their menus. My only problem is with their 'sommoliers' and their suggestions. On my last cruise with Oceania, the Head Sommolier was introduced as being from my home city - just wanting to say hello and congrats I also asked which of the two highly respected training courses in our city he had attended. Turned out neither - said he just picked it up as he went along with his job. I'm sure that this is possible, however, I always found that if you asked for a recommendation, the result was always for a top priced bottle on the wine list. Tried it once and then went back to a familiar wine I always enjoy even if the mark up still made me cringe.

Wow! We are impressed - What an experience. Had no idea of the fanfare involved in a ship christening - and so heartfelt. But then, this is truly a beautiful new ship in a beautiful part of the world.
